(11/12/2016) The Coddled Generation That Wasn’t Taught to Grow Up.  It used to be that people went to college so that, in addition to academic pursuits, they would learn to live on their own and be responsible; it other words, to grow up and mature.  Colleges seem determined to make their students regress, instead.

(11/02/2016) Pew: Donald Trump Voters Are Tolerant, Hillary Clinton Voters are Intolerant.  To be more sepcific, Trump voters are much less likely to disrespect Hillary voters than vice versa.  40% of Trump voters have a "hard time" respecting Hillary voters, 58% of Hillary voters have a hard time respecting Trump voters.  Kind of ironic since Hillary supporters are the ones waving "Love Trumps Hate" signs.

(10/25/2016) Feminists complain Wonder Woman's costume too revealing.  Let me make sure I have this straight: Wonder Woman's outfit is deemed too revealing by the same people who sponsor "slut walks."  While I am a fan of modesty, I am amused by the thought that if Baptists had complained about Wonder Woman's outfit before the feminists did, those same feminists would have attacked us for our "Puritanical" attitudes!

(10/18/2016) Social Justice Warriors: Purge Teddy Roosevelt, Columbus from History.  I keep repeating myself, but when the USSR did this kind of stuff we laughed at how ridiculous they were.  Now we are doing it and it has made significant inroads into our schools where we are already teaching politically correct US history; history that emphasizes the bad and ignores the good.  In particular, it ignores the details of our founding as well as the uniqueness of the American experience.  In short, it leaves out why America is exceptional and why America is great.  Is it any wonder that our younger generation no longer believes in these things?

(10/17/2016) Walmart: “All Lives Matter” Bumper Sticker is Offensive.  Walmart has subsequently reversed themselves.  But we need to keep in mind that the progressives in this country are ready, willing and able to try to impose their values on the rest of us.  And that includes complaining to companies like Walmart about the "offensiveness" of certain products.  We need to be ready, willing and able to fight back.  We may have won this little skirmish - a skirmish that never should have even taken place - but far too often, we lose because we did not fight back.

(10/15/2016) Duke U.: Combating “Toxic Masculinity.”  Instead of fighting "privilege" and trying to drag some people down, we should focus on teaching people how to earn their own "privilege."
