I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 5:18-19 (NIV)

Issue-Oriented Sites

These are Christian sites that tend to ephasize social issues and Christian values.  Some are single-issue, some cover the whole gamut.

American Family Association.  A Christian activist organization, complete with a monthly newsletter, activists alerts, emailed news, a great radio program of music plus talk radio, and informative about current news from a Christian viewpoint (they have their own news organization, www.onenewsnow.com.) They have excellent financial advice from a Christian stance, with free townhalls to give advice about investing in organizations who do not support abortion, gay marriage, etc.  (Thanks, Pam).

Atlas Shrugs, Pamela Geller's website.  With all the news she has been getting after the Garland, Texas shooting, this may be of interest.  She is the president of the American Freedom Defense Initiative (AFDI) and Stop Islamization of America (SIOA), and more.

Center for Urban Renewal and Education.  Group founded by Star Parker.

Family Research Council.  Was created as the 'political' arm of Focus on the Family, the FRC is sort of a traditional values think tank.  Lots of great resources!

Focus on the Family.  Founded by James Dobson, here is their own description of their ministry: We provide help and resources for couples to build healthy marriages that reflect God’s design, and for parents to raise their children according to morals and values grounded in biblical principles.

Life News.  Great site for pro-lifers, and that means you!

National Right to Life.  From their mission statement: The mission of National Right to Life is to protect and defend the most fundamental right of humankind, the right to life of every innocent human being from the beginning of life to natural death.

Public Discourse.  From the Witherspoon Institute, this online publication seeks to enhance the public understanding of the moral foundations of free societies though clear-minded and rational discourse on social issues.
