(06/26/2017) The Administrative Threat.  For years, Congress has passed vague laws leaving the details of implementation to the executive branch.  That is, to a bunch of unelected bureaucrats who may choose to interpret those vague laws in ways that Congress never intended.  As a result, the "law of the land" is full of stuff that Congress - supposedly the sole law-making authority in the USA - has never approved or passed.  Congress should be required to approve all proposed regulations before they go into effect.  And that is just for starters.

(05/25/2017) “President’s plan could stretch nation’s income inequality to ‘extreme’ levels.”  That is a Washington Post headline.  Conservatives believe that a booming economy is the best way to help lower income people, liberals believe that more government spending is the solution.  And conservatives believe that it would be better to increase low incomes by 20% even if high incomes increased by 30%.  Those on the Left apparently believe the opposite, since it would reduce "income inequality" - lower low incomes by 20%, while lowering high incomes by 30%.  As an aside, liberals are ridiculing Trump's budget because its assumption of 3% annual growth is  "unrealistic."  They did not have this problem with Obama's budgets while always assume more, while never achieving it in eight years.

(05/15/2017) Freakout at Howard University.  I noticed that Trump was criticized for not talking about various hot political issues during his commencement address at Liberty U - particularly the firing of James Comey.  Of course, the purpose of a commencement address is congratulate and encourage graduating senior, and perhaps sow some general pearls of wisdom as well.  But to the Left, everything is political, and given that conservatives rarely are given the opportunity to give a commencement address,  most commencement addresses could just as easily be given at a Democrat political rally.  Sad, because graduating seniors are rarely given the sort of advice they need to hear.   I should mention that the linked article covers much more than a political commencement address.
